      There’s many great things, and taking up drinking the free coffee we have here is one of them.

      Last year I was able to go to The Big Bang Fair in London (show you teacher the site below), and this was a great opportunity to share our science with people of all ages; we also helped them extract their own DNA from raspberries.

      I’ve also been lucky enough to be one of the first people in the world to put together a genome from data produced by a machine called PacBio- there’s only two of these in the country. Scientists in our area of research are very excited about this machine, so it’s cool to me able to do something so hyped that no one else has done, and very few may be able to.
