      Hello,

Many scientists believe that birds not only have the same anatomy as dinosaurs, but that they actually are a special type dinosaur, which has been around for millions of years. The oldest fossil of a feathered dinosaur is the archaeopteryx, which lived about 145 million years ago. It had a beak with teeth, along tail and wings with. You can see an image of the dinosaur here http://www.bbc.co.uk/nature/life/Archaeopteryx

Yes scientists have found lots of evidence that suggests that birds are descendents of a particular group of dinosaurs.
I don’t study this area myself but from what I understand scientists have been looking at fossils and comparing features between those dinosaurs and modern birds, like feathers (a number of dinosaur fossils have been found that had feathers!). There are also similarities in the way their skeletons are built and behaviors like swallowing stones to aid digestion and building nests. There are also fossils of early birds that look much more like dinosaurs than they do now. All of these things suggest that over millions of years some dinosuars slowly evolved to become modern birds!

Great answers I can’t improve on but there will be a lot of ancestral genes common in birds and dinosaurs for sure!

As everyone else has said, many scientists do believe that birds are descendants of dinosaurs which means that not all species of dinosaurs were completely wiped out and instead evolved into our modern birds. The initial link was made because several fossils of Archaeopteryx were mis-identified as several dinosaur species!

Yes, from fossil records and the like we believe so; raptors likely had feather also.

I can understand though if it’s hard to believe that this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1koa2xAxCAw
      could become this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOoUBRnQz6o
